Yes La Roche Posay sells products in mainland China.
When LRP claim that they don’t test on animals except in cases where regulatory bodies can require it – it is talking about China.
Brands are usually desperate to sell in China because the proposition is so lucrative.
Whilst we cannot now claim that countries involved in selling products in China can be cruelty-free, China’s animal testing policy is no longer as black and white is it seemed.
So what is La Roche Posay’s Official Stance on Animal Testing?
“La Roche-Posay does not test any of its products or any of its ingredients on animals, anywhere in the world nor does La Roche-Posay delegate this task to others.
The only possible exception is if regulatory authorities required it for safety or regulatory purposes.”
