e.l.f. overview
Cosmetics giant, e.l.f. is a cruelty free and vegan makeup and beauty company.
But it is so much more than that – the product range is HUGE, the prices are insanely cheap, it gives to charity and has a loyalty scheme. A favourite with beauty bloggers and an army of loyal fans.
Is e.l.f an Ethical Brand?
e.l.f is a mixed bag ethically.
From an animal welfare standpoint, e.l.f has been a member of PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies certification since 2005. And has been completely vegan for some time.
And e.l.f would be described as clean beauty. Its products are formulated without parabens, phthalates, triclosan and sulfates.
It’s not all good though. The products are not this cheap by magic – some contain palm oil, and its manufacturing isn’t that environmentally friendly.
