Mio Skincare and Mama Mio are both cruelty free and certified by PETA.
Is Mio and Mama Mio vegan?
No Mio and Mama Mio isn’t a completely vegan brand, because the nipple balm contains lanolin, some products contain beeswax and the skincare brush contains boar bristles.
However, it has reformulated a lot of its products recently so the vegan range is huge. Everything on site is clearly labelled, so you won’t have a problem with vegan friendly shopping.

It is considered ‘clean’ because there are no parabens, petrolatum, mineral oil, artificial colourants, sodium laureth or lauryl sulphate, xenoestrogens, phthalates, PEGs in Mio’s products. There is actually a page on the website explaining what its ‘no nasties’ policy is.
Mio and Mama Mio company history
