Is Harry’s Vegan?
Harry’s is not entirely vegan.
All of their products are vegan, with the exception of the Texturising Putty, which contains lanolin. So everything except one product. Which really makes you think Harry’s should just find one additional alternative here…
Harry’s Overview
Quality shaving at a fair price. And Harry’s really is quality. It oozes affordable luxury.
I recently bought their Essentials Shave Kit – shaving on holiday is something I always either forget about or hate – mainly because it looks so good. I’m a real sucker for cruelty-free male grooming products that have a premium feel to them.
And they’re few and far between. But Harry’s is definitely one – and they have the eco-ethos to back it all up.
Harry’s Product Range
- Razors
- Shaving cream, gel and balm
- Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner
- Hair gel, putty and cream

Harry’s Hero Product
You can’t go wrong with any of their shaving kits, but the Shave & Travel Shower Kit is one for the future holidays we can hopefully enjoy (COVID-related humour there).
Skincare wise, the Clear Skin Essentials set is an all-in-one solution for exfoliating, toning and moisturising.

What else do we love about Harry’s?
There’s a lot to love about Harry’s
- Firstly they own their own manufacturing plant in Germany and employ over 600 engineers, designers and craftsmen to create millions of precision blades each year
- Their products are made without harsh sulfates, parabens, or dyes and the majority of the packaging is fully recyclable. The blade cartridges, being comprised of multiple materials, are a bit trickier to recycle efficiently.
- Finally, and arguably most importantly, they donate 1% of their sales to charities helping men access therapy and other life-changing mental health resources. They’re on target to reach 500,000 men and donate $5 million by 2021.
Which more than anything just shows how successful they’ve become
