Glossier is one of the more ethical brands brands out there. It has never tested on animals. It also has a solid vegan range – although not entirely animal-free – and avoids largely unnecessary chemicals.
But that doesn’t mean it hasn’t made mistakes over the years.
Recently, Glossier has reduced the impact of its packaging on the environment significantly.
However, it also released a plastic-based glitter gel, which was unanimously panned as plastic-based glitter almost always ends up in the oceans. Luckily, that gel has been discontinued.
