According to Collection, it is a cruelty-free brand.
It claims that ‘Collection Cosmetics, or any third party acting on our behalf, has never conducted and will never conduct animal testing on any of our products.’
It doesn’t appear to test on animals, sell in countries where animal testing is mandated on cosmetics products or work with third party suppliers who may test products or ingredients on animals.
However because this isn’t confirmed by a cruelty-free accreditation, we have reached out for clarification.
Collection usually has some good money saving options so find out if they’re suitable for you below.
Is Collection a Vegan Brand?
Collection cannot be considered an entirely vegan brand as some animal products are used in the creation of products.
However since 2020 every new product created is vegan and it does have a large vegan makeup range that is very clearly labelled.
Collection Cosmetics Overview
Since 1987, Collection Cosmetics has been an affordable, cruelty-free cosmetics brand with a long-standing British heritage. Once called Collection 2000 (a dreadful name) it has thankfully rebranded to Collection Cosmetics and lost the unfortunate link with Y2K.
It has never taken part in animal testing and – based on social media browsing – is a real favourite with beauty bloggers.
And the wide-range of good value, trendy cosmetics has helped it stay as contemporary as ever.
What is Collection Cosmetics’ Hero Product?
For eyebrow lovers the Lash Surge Mascara is an excellent choice. Even for the shortest of lashes.
If you’re after some concealer, the Lasting Perfection Concealer is available in dozens of skin-matching shades, which is fantastic to see!

- Foundation
- Concealer
- Bronzer
- Primer
- Highlighter
- Blusher
- Mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow
