Yes Bulldog is an entirely vegan brand. It never uses animal products and all their products are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Is Bulldog an Ethical Brand?
Yes Bulldog is quite an ethical brand. For starters it is vegan friendly and certified cruelty-free.
The recent carbon neutral recycling scheme allows customers to send all – widely unrecycled – white tubes back in the post so Bulldog can reuse them. And the packaging itself is widely recyclable.
And the recent uptake of sugar cane plastic as a plastic alternative smacks of a brand making a significant effort.

Bulldog Skincare Overview
Whether you have regular, dry, sensitive, oily or mature skin, Bulldog is here to help you look and feel your best. Since 2005 Bulldog has been a straightforward, British brand you focus on creating high quality, ingredient-led skincare products for men.
Part of the reason why we love Bulldog is how its evolved over the years. The move to a more ethical brand has been wonderful to watch. And certainly not something we anticipated – a bulldog evokes a less empathetic, all-encompassing image. It shouldn’t but it does.
And if you like Bulldog, you’re sure to like Rockface – for the adventurer and Harry’s for premium quality.
What else do we love about Bulldog?
It has recently setup a recycling scheme to try to minimise their impact on the environment. The scheme allows you to send all white Bulldog tubes back to them in the post.
Bulldog claim ‘the best bit about the scheme is that it’s carbon neutral – the gas released during recycling process is captured and used to power the process’
We also love the fact it has never used plastic microbeads, synthetic fragrances or artificial colours.
